Jayben's birthday was quite the event.
Turning three is so much fun. Well, not that I remember but it sure looked like fun for him. We had a Transformer cake made at Macey's and they did great. I'm not much of a cake fan but it was pretty good. The frosting was quite a task to remove from teeth and hands. Hopefully it comes out of the clothes too.
Jayben got lots of good gifts. He didn't care much for the clothes, but Ben and I sure appreciate those. And he got his first pair of shin guards. It was a fun night and good to be able to spend time with our families.
I can't believe he is three already. It seems like just the other day I was recording him rolling over and thinking he was the smartest baby ever. I will keep the reminiscing to a minimum but those of you with kids definitely understand.
So since he is 3 I will write 3 things I love about Jayben (in no particular order).
1. He surprises me everyday with words, skills, stinky farts (he got that from his dad), love, kindness, and honesty.
2. Just when I think that I am failing as a parent he will say something that lets me know I am not. Usually singing a song or being willing to say a prayer with only a little help.
3. He is full of energy but also full of kindness. He always tries to console people when they are sad. It's so cute.
Not to brag or anything but my three year old is awesome!!!
