Double or Nothing

Nick (lead guitar) and Derek (drums)

We had a fun date at the Double or Nothing concert! We had front row seats, Ben got a pick from the lead singer, Cassidy got to kiss the bassist, and Josh got the crowd on their feet. This was their first concert since Nick's (lead singer and guitar) and Derek's (drums) missions. They recruited Taylor (bass and back up vocals) to replace another band member who is still on his mission. But if you ask me, Taylor is a much better choice. The songs were amazing, although I did miss the violin. Here is a sample from the concert. It's not a Nick original but still a fun song.

They will be playing again at Studio 600 on June 4th. Come out and support a local band. (You never know, one day they might be famous!)

It all makes sense now. I got a text about someone's brother in law's band and could not for the life of me figure out who it was fun. Dang it! Remind me for next time. Nic loves that kind of thing.

If it isn't obvious I suck when it comes to texting.

Ya, sorry Amber. I just sent it to everyone in my phone. I didn't even know if you had my number. I hope you saved it.

Now, let's talk half marathons here. The girls I was planning on running with in Vegas have dropped out.. one got pregnant, one moved, etc. But I still want to do one! So.. what day in August? Where? I am really interested!

Brooke and Janet,
The half marathon is on August 22 in Logan. The link is on the top right side of my blog. Hope you decide to do it.
