My soccer career is on hold until at least October 15, 2009 (Ben's birthday!!!). In the mean time, I will be expanding my body and building another addition to our family soccer team. The big question is what will be joining this team?
That's right! We are having another boy! But we are not surprised (or disappointed) at all. Jayben has told us from the beginning that it was a boy. Of course he wanted to name him Thomas. But I have vetoed all train names. Sorry Bud! 
For journaling purposes:
We found out we were expecting on February 8th. I went for a check-up on Feb 13th because I was in pain and was concerned that I was having an ectopic pregnancy. Their wasn't much to see but they thought it was possibly TWINS! Ahh. But when we returned for our next visit on March 4th there was only ONE! We told our families on March 9th because it was my birthday and we are due on Ben's. Jayben and Ben both got to wear their shirts, finally! I took progesterone for the first trimester. It emphasized the morning sickness and I experienced all the common side effects of the stuff. I was so glad to stop taking it. I am still taking a baby aspirin every day to increase the blood flow to my placenta. My uterus is tilted, which puts the baby in my back. It also causes the placenta to attach low. We have had one scare where I started spotting but it turned out to be nothing of concern. I have gained 5 lbs and I am 31 inches around. I feel way bigger this time than I did with Jayben.

We are always her to give aid and comfort to the mothers to be. I always loved being a Dad and now that I am a Grandpa, we get all the fun of little ones around again, but at least now we can send them home if they get out of hand.

This comment is a litle late, but congrats again. I was so happy for you when you told me, I think I got a little teary eyed, but tried to hide it-we'll blame it on the hormones. Anyways I am glad you didn't break the trend of having a boy. We will have to take a prego picture at work with all who are expecting before Caitlin delivers.

Congratulations to the whole fam. Yeah for boys! Although I was hoping for a girl so you could name her Bessa. And honestly, we were going to name our third Thomas and then wigged out at the last second... I still have regrets about it. He could have been such a cute Tommy.
