I know, I know

The past couple of weeks have been good. Jayben has been especially helpful when it comes to Lincoln. But he has been his usual 4 year old self when it comes to everything else. We usually tell him to stop doing something, followed by the sarcastic "I know".
So, when we tell him not to do things because we don't want him to get hurt he usually does it AT LEAST one more time. And this is usually the result:

Yep, he bit right into his tongue.
He doesn't always bite his tongue, he sometimes hits his head, face, front tooth, arms, legs. If Jayben doesn't have a bruise of some sort of wound we wouldn't know what to do.
But taking a picture of the wound must make it feel better because as soon as we did that he was fine.

Both of my kids have giant clumps in scar tissue in their bottom lips. It makes for cute lopsided smiles, but I still don't understand how, "Get down from there!" translates into "Jump off that and land on your face!"
