Almost Famous!

Despite my many "claims to fame", I am not at all famous. Although I am told frequently that I look like famous people; Jessica Simpson (it must be the blonde hair and the big... front teeth!), The kind of chubby and blonde lead singer of the Dixie chicks, Rachel McAdams from Mean Girls. I have even been told I look like Rachel Hunter. Honestly, she is probably a foot taller than I am and a freaking supermodel. What do you think?

Maybe we have some similar features. Like stuffing a big fat ice cream cone into our mouth, I do that on a regular basis.

Ben on the other hand, used to be told that he looked like Richard Gere. Maybe. But more recently he has been told that he looks like the guy from Lost (or Party of five if you are still living in the 90's), Matthew Fox.

I totally see it. They have a little salt and pepper in their hair, similar noses, dark eyes, and just a hint of scruff.

I took this picture of Jayben the other day and it reminded me immediately of Ralphie from A Christmas Story.

Good thing Jayben doesn't really have glasses. It would be ok if he did but I would probably tell him that he'd shoot his eye out...WAIT maybe we should be telling him that.

There are a few other stand-out celebrity look-a-likes in the family.

This picture of Josh isn't as good as I had hoped. There is a picture on their blog header that I think fits a little better. But he still looks like him a lot. Like me, Josh would need to grow a foot or so to stand in as a body double for Mehmo.

Just add glasses and a perm. Nick has even been known to use phrases similar to "my lips hurt real bad." And that was before the movie came out.

And this is Jeopardy!

Double Jeopardy if you ask me. He's no Canadian but Ben's dad could step in as the host. He's a silver fox, wears a suit on a regular basis, he's a good host and of course, has all the answers.

And finally, we can't forget my family.

Not who you were expecting. But since my dad plays the guitar I opted for a rock legend, lead of the Grateful Dead, a man who has a Ben and Jerry's ice cream named after him over that other guy.
