spring into soccer

Jaybens soccer season started again! Every Saturday he will have a game. He was really excited to play. But for some reason he is intimidated to play with kids his age.

He had some good defense in the game. It looks like he was doing the chicken dance at one point.
He did stop a goal from going in! I wish it was on purpose but he just happened to be in the way. Oh well. He was depressed that he didn't score a goal so we had to explain to him that keeping the other team from scoring helps your team win too.
He has really good throw-ins. That is by far his best soccer skill.
This is what most of the game is really about. He constantly needs a little push from the coach to keep moving and going where the ball is. And I think he just plays for the treats!
Lincoln enjoyed the game from his carseat. It was a little windy so we kept him protected and happy!
Go Red Ninjas!

So cute! He's going to be an awesome little soccer player, just like his mom and dad. I wish our boys could play together. Speaking of which....we need to get together soon now that the weather is {mostly} cooperating. Oh and I want to know about that awesome fruits and veggies place!
