My sister moved to New Zealand just after Jayben and Joshua turned 1. So, the boys didn't really know eachother. But even after the first day together they were like two peas in a pod. The first day we went to Chick-fil-a and the boys tormented kids on the playground together. Later that day, Jayben convinced Joshua that there were ghosts in the basement and then Jayben was sad that Joshua wouldn't go downstairs to play with him.
Everytime they get together its so much fun. In fact we might just keep Joshua around so Jayben has someone his age to play with when he goes to grandmas house. I'm sure our older nephews and neices would be grateful.
Laura is usually the one stuck entertaining Jayben after family dinner.
Today while we were waiting for Jetaime and Joshua to arrive at the gateway we rode the free zone on trax.

I know these pictures are super high quality. But that's what you get when you hurry to take a picture before the bum who is on the train to stay warm sits down by you and your kids.
The Discovery Gateway museum.
This picture was taken just after Jayben took his finger out of his nose!
Jayben tried to lift Joshua with the crane. But he just wasn't strong enough.
They were off to the water works department.
The boys had fun with this one. Jayben didn't get too wet and unfortunately I didn't get a picture of Joshua falling into the water.
Jayben really wanted to climb that rock wall. And I took the picture as he reached his peak. Hooray buddy, you made it one step onto the wall.
Joshua and Jayben filled the entire grocery cart with food. Then Jayben ran down the aisles with his hands out and swatted all the food off of the shelves. That's my boy! And the exact reason I don't go grocery shopping with him very often.
Last time we went to the museum Jayben wouldn't get on the horse. Before we even got there he told me that this time he would get on it for sure. He wanted to be Shrek for a minute. Then we went out to the life flight helicopter. He kept running in and out of the chopper because he was afraid it was really going to lift off.
And that is when we walked on Mars and the moon. As you can see we even spotted an alien!
The boys had a lot of fun together. And I was glad to have a long drive home because both of my gems fell asleep as soon as we hit the freeway!
