leaving on a jet plane!

Part ONE of our trip!
Early flight out of SLC. On the road by 5am. Lincoln woke up just in time for us to leave. He knew something was going on. Poor Nick had to stay awake with him until he calmed down. As for us, we were on our way to a week of warm weather and fun!!!

The best part of the flight was that Tiffany thought that they were playing rollercoaster sounds on the take-off. Steph kindly informed her that was just the plane actually working to get us off the ground.

After a short lay-over in Pheonix we were finally in Fort Lauderdale. Our night started at Holiday in Express! It was pure luxury. We managed to get the "suite" and we all fit in one room!

We ate dinner at 15th Street Fisheries. It was amazing! By far the best meal we ate the entire time we were gone. We ventured out and tried gator! It was fantastic. Rocky found a 1/2 million dollar car in the parking lot. Ben and the boys fed the tarpons outside the restaraunt. They looked like mini sharks.

After our amazing meal we partied it up at the local dollar store across from our hotel. We bought a stuffed monkey and named him Kenny. Our plan is to have him join us on our adventures. Stay tuned...

We somehow managed to snag a spot in the VIP line and we got on the ship pretty early. It was great. Except we didn't check our bags so we had to tote them around for a few hours until our rooms were ready! The boys had walky talkies and came up with code names. Rocky was white rhino. Ben was gator and Jeff was backman.

Everyday the cruise gave us a "funtimes" list of all the activities. We pretty much planned our day around it.

It was like 65 degrees but we all got on our summer get up and tried to lay out. It didn't last long.

We took ourselves on a tour of the boat. Ben and Rocky had a competition in the dance club to see who could hold themselves up on the pole the longest. They actually tied.

It was super windy on the top deck as we sailed away from Ft. Lauderdale.

Our first dinner on the ship. It was so nice. We could order anything we wanted. We always had a starter and a main course and don't forget, chocolate melting cake for dessert.

Kenny got to do everything he wanted or we wanted. Like put his arm on Jogi's shoulder.

We went to a trivia game on the boat and earned beads for correct answers. Ben, Steph and Rock all earned some beads, Ben earned a lot! After the game we attended a beginning merengue class. I learned that I have dance A.D.D. and sadly it was at this point we lost Kenny! But we did meet Jay. He is on the entertainment staff as a dancer. And he really liked Bens moves.

 Tiff and Jeff went to bed early. But Steph and I danced in the club by ourselves for over an hour. Until some drunk girls (butter face) and Tina came to dance with us for a song. Ben and I did one salsa but we had to stop after Tina accused Ben of "tempting the customers" and leaving the dance floor.

I don't think I have laughed this hard ever!
