He was most excited about his green no slip socks he got to wear. Oh and the ride back in the wagon was pretty cool too.
He was pretty mad at us when he first got out of surgery. He kept scuzzing us. After about 10 minutes and a few sips of water he puked. They gave him zofran and he was a new kid.
He was reading with Ben. Watching movies on my phone and eating popsicles like it was 90 degrees outside (we only wish).
While in the surgical center he kept saying the funniest things.
We asked him if he wanted to ride out in the wheelchair. He said "I don't know how to make a wheelchair go. But somebodies got to do it."
He kept looking at Ben and raising his eyebrows. It was hilarious.
When they took his I.V. out of his foot he said it hurt like a fireball on his foot. "no more like 6 fireballs!"
Out of no where he looks over at me and says "mom, come over here and give me a hug!"
When we got home he was showing us how Rocket (our old dog) used to drag his bum on the grass. Hysterical!
This morning he told me that his toes are girls and his fingers are boys and they are going to get married to eachother.
Gotta love narcotics!
He feels actually pretty good. The hard thing is to get him to slow down. He is eating like crazy. So far he has had lots of gogurt, some otter pops (some frozen, some not so much), lots of danimals smoothies, 2 packages of ramen noodles, a milk shake and attempted to eat a pancake. But he really wants to eat a corndog.
Mostly he is sad he didn't get to save his tonsils for show and tell.
They were sent to pathology to figure out why they are/were so darn large all the time.

Glad he is doing well! On Sunday, he didn't look like he we feeling well at all...poor kid. :(
I didn't even know he had to get that done. We need to get together more often apparently! Glad he is doing good and that is funny about rocket and his bum!!haha
I had my tonsils out when I was in kindergarten. When I was in the operating room, they had me count back from 10. I think I made it to 8. I woke up in a children's ward and got to go home to eat jello.
oh my that was a hilarious post!!! HAHA I love Jaybs so much! I am glad everything went well.
We sure love that kid. He always says the funniest things, but what do you expect, he has two grandpa's that give out Jay Jokes like they grow on trees.
Lets just hope being tonsil-less allows him to sleep a little better at night. Sleepless nights and hyper-activity seem to accompany each other so often.
