The night started with Logan and ended with Jayben. But we learned through the power of Facebook that people all over were shaving their heads at home too! The youngest to get their head shaved just turned 1 and the oldest was 60.

I wasn't able to get a picture of everyone because of course I didn't charge my battery to my camera. But we did get lots of pictures. So many that I couldn't even organize them to make any order out of them.
Ben really wanted to shave Jona's head. It was like old times for them. Of course, I doubt either of them really shaved their heads like this before. I love the smiles on their faces at they did this.
Ben and Jona are brothers but Ben has always held a special place for Jona as he was his first brother. One of the first stories I heard about Ben and Jona was when they adopted Jona Ben said to his parents "thanks for buying him for me!" And I think that Ben especially has always felt that Jona was his brother. Now that they both have diabetes and bald heads their similarities are too numerous to name.

Gloria got in on the action too! I can't describe how much fun it was too watch everyone participate.

A funny story though or tender mercy. On the way over to the party Jayben asked us to turn up the radio and sure enough "Eye of the tiger" was on! We turned the radio up and all just sat and listened to it as our reminder of Jona and what so many people were willing to do for him this day!
