36 week stats:
She weighs a whopping 5.2 lbs!
So despite my desire to evict her she must grow a little bit more.
Dilation: 2 cm
Effaced: 50%
I like to know that I am making progress, but I don't get overly excited about these numbers. Honestly, I'm probably a 1 or so when I'm not even pregnant.
I have gained 29 lbs. Right on target to gain the exact amount I did with my boys.
I get contractions all the time. Some painful, others not so much.
She wiggles, rolls, kicks, and gets the hiccups all the time. I might miss that one day. For now, I will just accept it as her way of saying hi mom.
I keep trying to bend over at my waist and I can't. It doesn't feel right, ok it down right hurts. I waddle when I walk. If I try to focus on not waddling then that hurts too. I had the worst charlie horse in my right calf the other night. I woke up screaming and panting and all I could do was hold my leg in the air. Ben had to rub the knot out of my leg. It hurt for a full day too. I have also been waking up with horrible heartburn. I ate a few tums with no relief. I finally stacked the bed with pillows and ended up sleeping sitting up. Ben rubbed my back (but he doesn't remember doing it).
We are getting excited for her to come. The reality is starting to sink in a bit for us. Why are we so scared when we've done this before? Because we have done this before (but with different parts). I hope the suspense of finding out her name is killing you because it is definitely killing us!
But at least she has a cute place to sleep!

I had horrible heartburn with my last pregnancy too and Tums did nothing. A friend told me to try chia seeds and they worked wonders for me! I would swallow a spoonful, down it with some water, wait five minutes and then drink a full glass of water. The seeds will absorb the extra acid in your stomach. I picked mine up in the bulk section at Winco. Plus, they're good for you too!
And her room is awesome!
WOW!
Ahhhh I remember those days! I can't believe how fast this has gone, not for you I'm sure. I can't wait to see what you name her!
