After we left LegoLand, we found a grocery store and stocked up on some food. Jayben ate almost the entire platter of shrimp!
The next day we went to the beach! It was so cold but the kids didn't care. They kept running from the waves. Sadly, Lincoln didn't fare so well and was taken down by a quick wave and then trampled again by another. He was not a happy camper at that point.
It started raining after that so we drove around town. And where did Jayben pick to eat dinner? Red Lobster. He LOVES fish, can you tell?
Brecklyn did amazing on this trip. She was the perfect age. Content to hang out with us and happy as can be. She slept better in California than she does at home. She is seriously a doll!
Lincoln was hysterical on this ride. He was cracking us up. We took advantage of the parent swap and it was perfect. I would walk around with Brecklyn and feed her while the boys waited in line. Once they went on the ride I would meet them at the exit and Ben would take Brecklyn while I went with the boys again!
Overall we had a fun time as a family. But I wouldn't go back to LegoLand. It was worth doing once though.
Ben was a little tired of driving. Brecklyn was sad after 5 hours in the car but was soothed by holding onto big brothers finger!
