The Hogle Zoo

We made our first trip to the zoo this year. Jayben had a lot of fun. He even got to touch a baby alligator. We saw the white alligator, it was kind of lame since it looked dead. Seriously, it wasn't dead. The zookeeper said that the alligator doesn't do anything all day. Which is funny for all the hype of seeing the "ghost of the bayou." I remember measuring up to the gorilla when I was a kid. It was fun to have Jayben do that this year.

We got to go to the park and we had a blast playing on all the fun bugs. Usually we end up at the zoo on the most crowded days. This time we went on a Tuesday and it was so nice, no crowds and we could take our time. Jayben can't get enough of climbing or bugs. Typical boy! I was just happy to have a place to sit down.

Jayben was a little bit scared of the elephant. It would play songs and then water shoots out of its trunk. I have a video of it but I don't know how to upload it. I'm just new at the blogging stuff.
