Still gives me butterflies!

Today is our 7th anniversary! It's hard to believe it's been 7 years already. We have had so much fun, accomplished so much and learned a ton. Here are some interesting facts about the 7 years we have been married (and a few before then too).

• Ben knew the first day we met that he was going to marry me, only he couldn't remember my name. We met while working at the Driver License Division. It was supposed to be a summer job for me and it turned into an Eternal marriage.
  
• We dated for nearly 7 months before we got married. Ben proposed on 9/11/00 and he sang "Amazed" by Lonestar.
• I learned while we were dating that Ben can sing just like Billy Gillman
  
  
• I was late to the Temple. Traffic was horrible that morning, there was a big storm and I thought it was a good idea to take Redwood Road all the way to the Salt Lake Temple from West Jordan. DUH! Ben just waited patiently for me. (I guess it was a little preparation for marriage to me).

• We have been to Mexico 5 times in 7 years. Puerto Vallarta for our honeymoon, Acapulco for fun, Cancun for my graduation, Cancun for Ben's graduation (we got to see a bull fight), and Chihuahua for a wedding.
• We have never lived in an apartment or with our parents while married. (I'm a brat and want my own stuff).
• We have had the same bottle of Mexican Vanilla since we got married. That's why all the stuff I bake is SO good.
• I'm so random that instead of just asking for help with things around the house, I sing songs about it. The most frequent song is "I love to do the dishes" to the tune of "I love to see the Temple".

• I still get the butterflies when he looks in my eyes. Whenever people ask me about marriage and I talk about Ben, my eyes water.
• This has been the greatest 7 years of my life. I hope to have many many more.

I love you Ben. You are the greatest. I am so lucky that you fell in love with me. Thanks for always making me feel like I am your everything. I don't know what I would do without you. You are all the things that I could ever hope for in a husband. I love your guts!
