Look mom!

This is exactly how good potty training is going. He shows interest about once a day (if that). However, 6 months ago, he was totally interested. I don't know what happened. So, we have just been playing it by ear. Some days are good, others not so much.
Jayben is very good at learning other things. He knows how to spell his name and can read almost all the letters of the alphabet.

I am impressed, Joshua could care less about learning his letters, let alone spell his name. and as for potty training goes, he is doing the same thing as Jayben.

don't even get me started on pottytraining. It is one of the worst things about parenting.. at least in my experience. I am not kidding you when I say that both of my boys were fluently reading before they were potty-trained. I believe Luke was at about a 2nd grade reading level when he finally learned to be in the toilet (a few months after he turned 3.) I was pulling my hair out. How old is Jayben? I am not looking forward to training Zack...

Oh potty training. It was truly a nightmare with Avaree and then after Christmas she just got it and I haven't had any problems. But I had 4 months of heck. Just wait until he wants to do it but who knows when that is? Good for him for writing his name and knowing his abc's. Avaree is still learning. She can't seem to get past the letter A. I'm sure it will just click one day!

Your little boy is adorable! It is fun to see you all grown up. Of course, you are still gorgeous!
