He will be missed.

President Gordon B. Hinckley passed away Sunday night in his apartment. The news spread like wildfire. I was at my parents house and we received a call from my brother-in-law. I felt so sad, and I couldn't believe it. President Hinckley always seemed so alive and full of energy, it's hard to believe he is gone. Earlier on Sunday I actually thought about him passing away and what I would do. I didn't realize how soon I would have to face the reality of that thought. I am so happy for him to be with his sweet wife. I could only imagine the reception he had as he entered into His presence. My cousin said, "he is the prophet that I most relate with and remember. We will all miss his contagious joy." I could not have said it better. President Hinckley will always be remembered for so many great reasons.
Here is some of his wise counsel

Be Good Women, Be Good Mothers
“You women, be good women, be good mothers. Be kind and gracious and generous. Strengthen your children with your faith and your testimony. Lift them up. Help them to walk through the troubled ways of the world as they grow in this very difficult age. Support, sustain, uphold, and bless your husbands with your love and your encouragement; and the Lord will bless you." (meeting, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Oct. 25, 2002).

Go to the House of the Lord
“Attend the temple. You will be blessed for so doing. Every man or woman who goes into the house of the Lord leaves there a better man or woman than he or she was when he or she entered the house of the Lord. The house of the Lord will have a refining effect upon you. It will cultivate unselfishness within your lives. It will build righteousness. It will impress upon you the importance of doing what you ought to do. Go to the house of the Lord” (stake conference, Provo, Utah, Sept. 22, 2002).
I pray that we can all continue to follow his counsel. And never forget the love and testimony he shared with each of us.

Yes the news came to me from your loving sister as i was driving home from along hard day of work. As tears streamed down my cheeks, I could only think of having Him here with us in mortality. But that is selfish as He belongs next to his Sweet-heart (Marjorie). His body was slowing down so the LORD took him now to continue the work on, with his foot to the floor full speed ahead. We Love Him and will miss Him, till then Arohanui.
