3/9/80 & 3/9/08

What do ski ball, macaroni grill, and a mini nose have in common? They were all part of my 28th birthday!
Saturday night Ben took me to Salt Lake to Macaroni Grill. I thought it would be wise to branch out from my usual dish, but I was wrong. I ordered a pasta that sounded good but came out looking like milk over pasta. It tasted about the same. I asked the waiter if it was supposed to look like that and he said, "that is textbook" and walked away. After some sulking over my horrible meal choice I got a replacement meal of Penne Rustica. It was delicious! And they gave it to us for FREE!
After that we went to the Junction in Ogden. We played some ski ball, which I got my butt kicked at. We also rode on the bumper cars. They aren't the old style, crappy ones like at Lagoon. They were really cool. We had a blast. I'm sure we looked funny 4 adults (me, Ben, Josh and Harmony) just riding around crashing into each other and laughing our guts out.

Sunday was my actual birthday. While at church I was taking Jayben to the bathroom and he looked at me and asked what was on my face. I told him it was a zit and he replied, "no, it's a mini-nose." I guess the zit was a little bigger than I thought.
But to top off the entire day of celebration, Ben gave me what I have been asking for...him to do the body roll. Yes, I honestly wanted him to do it. He has been practicing for about 6 months now and he finally showed me. It was quite the treat. Too bad I didn't record it for you all to see.
