Easter Celebrations!

Saturday was a good day. In the morning, the girls (my mother-in law and all my sister-in-laws)went shopping for Easter outfits. We drove to Fashion place mall, which always makes me a little nervous that I will see someone I know. And of course, I did. Brad Belcher, my homecoming date senior year. We talked a bit about life and then of course the reunion came up. That's when I should have said nothing or just inserted my foot. I forgot he was a senior class officer and was planning the whole shindig. Oops! After that akward encounter, I bought myself a great outfit and a cookie dough shake and we headed home.
Later on Saturday night we went to see my niece perform in her ward "night of stars". It was a glorified lip-sync contest. But it was fun. Even more fun, when Ben dragged me onto the stage to do an impromptu performance to "One semester of Spanish Love song". If you haven't seen or heard the song go to you tube. It's a classic.

Jayben had an exciting Easter. Ok maybe not that exciting. We decorated the eggs at 9:30 on Saturday night and then I had to work at 5am on Sunday morning. We hid the Easter Basket from him until I got home from work at 1:30pm. But he sure did make a mess of it quickly. Of course, he was very excited to get a new train. He even told us that he is a boy but he likes girl trains too.
