This is the text I got from my mother-in-law. I (of course) was at the hospital and not at home.
Jayben is pretty proud of his broken arm. He has been in good spirits and doesn't complain much, except for the itching.
Here is Jaybens story of what happened:
He thinks that somersaults are flips
Of course he did have to show us, before going to bed that night, that he can do "flips" good and safe.This soft cast has not slowed him down one bit.
Although he was a little unsure of the full arm cast he soon became his regular crazy self.

It looks like he got his blue cast. It's better than when I got mine and it was just ugly and white.
Poor little guy! How long does he have to have the cast on?
We still need to have a play date soon. :)

:( But he is a trooper. Too bad he takes his cast off when his careless mama isn't watching-or was he trying to impress a pretty girl?? Anyway, I still love Ben and Angie's baby. I can't stop looking at it.
Holy smokes! Well, welcome to the club! If you ever need to vent to someone, I'm all ears cause BELIEVE me, I feel your pain! It is kinda cute though, seeing these little boys with casts; and that video of him is too cute! Here's to our blue cast little crazy boys!! Hope bath time goes better for you than it has been for me :)
I can't believe you texted Anna about Jayben and you didn't even let us know. I am the only one who feels your pain. Laura fractured her wrist in Kindergarten and then Bradley fractured his wrist about 6 months later. Bradley was 2 and got the ugly white cast. Emily's pink foot cast was much cuter. As for bathing them, we used a garbage bag and press and seal wrapped around it. It seemed to work.
Harmony told me what happened, the poor thing. Whenever I see little kids with casts on I think it's so sad. Hopefully he'll heal fast. Carson won't even wear a bandaid, I don't know what we'd do if he ever had to wear a cast.
Oh man.....definitely not the break you were looking for! Poor kid - luckily kids are so resilient. I love that he bounced right back. He's too cute! I've been thinking about you for the past few weeks. I hope things are going okay. We definitely need to get together with you guys again - it was a nice change for me! (Tell Ben he needs to avoid making babies with Angelina Jolie at all cost! Loved all of your funny pics.)

ha ha ha ha ha ha... i mean.... waaaahhh.... ha ha just kiddin. poor jaybs, but seriously, we all knew someday it was bound to happen! he takes after his cool aunt who has broken the same foot twice!! ;o)

Way to stay composed. I'd be in for elder abuse after something like that.
Anyhoo, sorry we missed the Zoo day. I want to go closer to Halloween fot the BOO at the ZOO thing. Come and chill with us soon!
