Well, the basement is a work in progress.
The rest of my house is a disaster. If you don't believe me, just ask the Kluge's.
All the finish work is done and we are priming for paint today. We hope to be done with all this by April. I would say sooner, but it's not realistic and I don't want to be disappointed.
Maybe one day I can get the rest of my house back. Who knew we had acquired so much stuff over the last 6 years we have lived here. I never thought about what we would do with all of it when we finished the basement.

You are a patient woman to have your kitchen converted into a storage room! I'm sure it's worth it though to get the basement done. Just temporary. Here's to hoping things move quicker than you think!
You know Jayben would like the basement completed for his birthday.
All is looking pretty good. Now only a final paint job and carpet and you can move all your extended family members. Ha Ha.
I guess, if you beg, we could ask if your Grandma would like to move in. Maybe not.

I'm so jealous about your basement. I can't wait to finish up ours. Still waiting for that little bit of extra money to start coming in. We need to get together soon, Phoenix keeps asking about Jayben and when they can play. Maybe a trip to the Dinosaur Park?
that's what my kitchen looks like today and I have no "home makeover" excuse. the theater room looks mighty cozy....

It's looking good! I would imagine you are a little excited to get the basement done, not only to have the extra room but to get the house re-organized.
I love when projects like that are all done- and the sense of accomplishment- but I hate the process!!! Good luck!

We are finishing our basement too so I feel your pain. We were able to stuff most of our stuff in the garage, underbeds, in closets, etc. But I feel like I am loosing my mind because I can't find anything. At least you are further...we are still finishing electrical. Jeff works on it a couple nights a week...ahhh!

What I can see looks awesome! You guys are doing a great job! I want a Theater room in my next house for sure! They are such a great idea.
