We met up for our new annual zoo day. It's fun to get together with the girls from high school and see us all growed up. I love that it's so natural for kids to be friends with someone they just met (or only see once a year). Jayben thinks they are all his cousins.
Jayben did not enjoy the elephant, in fact he says he will "never, ever sit on it again!" But we will see about that. He was upset because it sneezed while he was on it and it scared him. The good news is that he was willing to pose for many other pictures.

Can you believe all of us and our bellies? Four out of six is pretty good.
Jayben took some good pictures of the cougar and the giraffes bum. Then he wanted to take one with me and the giraffes bum. Lucky me! We had fun drinking from the lion fountains and playing in the rain.

Once the rain cleared the kids found a peacock and chased it from over by the camels clear to the rhino. Of course once they got close to it and realized it was huge they got a little scared.

Of course, we can't leave the zoo without measuring up to the gorilla. Here are the last four trips to the zoo. It's always fun to see how much he grows. Too bad four year olds don't like to stand up straight.

It was a fun day. Hopefully we can keep up the tradition.

fun, fun, fun. Wish I could have been there. I would have loved to see everyone AND it would have increased your preggo stats.
That was fun- even in the rain :) Lets for sure make it happen every year (but lets get together to do something sooner than that!)
