"fireman"

If you know Jayben, you know he has a wild imagination. When I told him we were going on a tour of the fire station he was so excited and decided he wanted to be a fireman. But his idea of a fireman is an actual man who is on fire and can throw flames from his hands. So, we went on a tour of the Clinton Fire Department. Jayben decided that type of fireman didn't look as much fun as the one he had pictured.
The trucks are yellow because they believe that they are easier to see than red. The big truck is called quint because it can do 5 things (or something like that). They even put the ladder all the way up. It was so high.

The siren was too loud for Jayben, the night goggles or heat goggles were too scary and the clothes were too heavy! Ammon was un-phased by the siren as he tried to fit his fist all the way in his mouth.

The learned about "stop, drop and roll!" They got to see the oxygen masks and for some reason they all thought it was funny.

Thanks Desi for arranging a fun activity for the kids.
