hatchback heaven!

On Saturday night we decided to go to the drive-in. None of us had been in forever so we thought it would be fun. I must say that I love having a hatchback. Who needs a mini-van or a truck? Not us. We were able to lay the seats back, pad the bottom with blankets so my bum wouldn't hurt and it was super comfy.

We pulled up to a great spot. Then after getting settled the awkward teenager informs us that we couldn't park where we were. Boo! So we move, then he tells us that we have to park closer to the other cars. Boo! Then the kids in the truck next to us kept swearing. How sad when Jayben keeps saying, "we don't say that!" Then luckily another car moved and we had a great view of the screen. It was perfect. Until the movie started and realized that the awkward teenager had directed us to the wrong screen. So, we drove over to the screen where "Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" was playing. The best spot was behind a huge van. You know, the big white ones that have wheelchair access for multiple wheelchairs. On the bright side, only a quarter of the screen was blocked.

Jayben loved the movie and being able to bring your own treats is also a bonus. Plus, kids 5 and under are FREEeeee!
