I want candy!

We went on a "Sweet" tour to the Sweet's candy factory with some neighbors and friends. It was a lot of fun. They only let you go in groups of 10 so we had to split up. Too bad, it would have been fun to all stay together.
They make you wear these awesome hair nets. I had to bribe Jayben to wear it, luckily there was plenty of candy for that.
Our tour was in the afternoon so we missed them making most of the candy. Except for the chocolate covered marshmallows. We even got to taste them right off the line. We watched some cool videos instead. We also ate some half-baked Jelly beans that taste WAY better than the finished ones.
The tour was fun and it's free.

Ok, so I'm going to vent a little bit about the hair net situation. You see, often times I have been to similar "candy factory tours" and have also been forced to wear this ridiculous accessory.

Whilst on these tours, however, I would inevitably see some dude working behind the glass with the longest pony tail/mullet in the history of man. And there, directly on top of his head, was a hair net just like the ones in your pictures. It doesn't matter that this guys/gals pony tail is dipping into the batter which will soon be baked into delicious candy. Just as long as the top of his head is covered... that's were the really dirty hair comes from.

I'm rolling my eyes right now if you couldn't tell.

And besides, in my experience the entire tour has been conducted from behind large glass walls, from which you can see the process of candy making. The last time I checked, a massive, thick glass wall is slightly more effective at keeping hair out of the candy than is a wimpy little hair net. Just plain stupid.

I'm with ya' Jayben. Hair net free is the way to be.
