After the half marathon we drove to Salt Lake to spend some time with my family while my sister is in town. On our way down we found out that dinner would not be until 7pm and so we decided to stop at the Discovery Gateway Museum. We had a free family pass that needed to be used so it was worth it.

There are lots of cool things for the kids to play with and learn about. The problem was when the parents were playing with the stuff and kids had to wait until the parents that weren't watching their kids were done. One kid kept taking stuff from Jayben and his parents were playing with the blocks on a table nearby. I could have taken pictures of at least 10 parents that were more into the toys than their kids.

Jayben was really good while we were there. He was hilarious in the little house. He was making food for Ben and really added salt and pepper to his food. It's funny that he does such adult things.
He wanted to go to the farm area over the rock climbing wall. But then he wouldn't get on the horse with me. So, I hopped on anyway, all the other parents probably had.

We were there for about two hours and I'm sure Jayben could have stayed longer. But Ben and I were done. It had already been a long day for both of us!

My kids love going to the Childrens Museum, but I am WAY done after an hour :) I love that you posed on the horse (you can claim it was Lincolns first time on the horse).
