I like 'em big!

Ben has been singing that song from Madagascar 2 to me for months. I always laughed until I realized today the similarities I have to a hippo! Ha ha!
Here I am at 39 weeks! I had NO CHANGE from 38-39 weeks. Nearly dilated 3cm and 75% effaced. Dr. Bierer promised me I would have a post General Conference baby and he was right. For once he didn't jinx me! Of course he did go out of town last weekend so I was praying he was right. Lincoln weighs around 6 1/2 lbs! I gained an inch and a half since last time I measured around my belly. Maybe it's because I dropped. Who knew that a girl with a 6 inch torso could drop? Ya, so I am now 41.5 inches around my belly! I gained another two pounds which puts my weight gain EXACTLY the same as I was the appointment before I had Jayben. Not that you would know from the picture below.

Since the weather got colder I got out some of the sweaters I had worn with Jayben. One of them didn't even cover my belly all the way! Oh what a sad day. So, for those of you who think that my belly is too small to have a baby this weekend, I beg to differ! And my love handles for sure disagree!

I am happy to say that I will not be taking another side shot belly picture this pregnancy!
Unless by some miracle I go into labor while working tomorrow, we will be induced Saturday 10/10! I can't believe it's here! This pregnancy has been so much different than it was with Jayben. Much more difficult, more uncomfortable, more fears, more tired. But I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to experience all of it.

Good Luck, I am so excited to see him. I like your growth chart. You just may go into labor at work, that is my bet.

I am so excited for you. I just can't believe you didn't want to wait another day so Lincoln could share his birthday with grandpa. Wish I was there.

Good luck! We're excited for you guys. I had a dream last night that I was getting ready for a race but I couldn't find any workout clothes to fit my post pregnancy physique. I woke up after settling on the biggest T-shirt and shorts I had...you know, like region vball shirt or whatever. The fact that I can't even run yet was just an after thought. Let us know how it goes!

My niece walks around singing that song too in the same voice as on the movie and it cracks me up! Good luck with everything next week :-)
