I had the best party ever. This was the first (and best) picture of the night! It looks like I am thinking "like, oh my gosh!" It's hilarious!

I really wanted to have a 30th birthday party, so last minute we threw this party together. It was seriously so much fun. I have never laughed so hard and smiled so much at a birthday party that I can remember.

If this is any indication of how my 30's will be, I am super excited!

 

So many people got into the party! I just loved it and am so thankful that they were willing to indulge me.

I seriously love how supportive my family is. I told Cass she looked like Kelly Kapowski. We had a blast skating and dancing together. I love that Cass is always willing to be crazy with me.

 

 

 

It's hard to believe that I am 30, married, and a mom of that cute boy with a mohawk. Of course with the bunny ears made by my sister, it's no wonder I've never grown up.

 

Some of my best girls. Harmony totally rocked that aerobic outfit. The only thing missing are the leg warmers! :(

I love the oversized sweatshirt, the leggings, and of course, the jean jacket!

 

The Taylor family arrived a little late but I am so happy they came. We play soccer with and against them and have become good friends. The best part of their outfits is that they found them all in their dads closet. And at the end of the night he said that he forgot how comfortable the parachute pants are and he might start wearing them after work! Yikes!

 

Don't we look like a bunch of girls going to a stomp? Kim was even equipped with a large bow! Wow! I am still laughing at these outfits.

Memory update: I have been thinking of all the things I don't want to forget that I don't have pictures of.

• The first time I put the skates on I thought I was going to fall over, it was so hard. I was going so slow, I probably looked stupid, but it was fun.
• Watching Kevin skate like he had done it yesterday, he looked so natural on 4 wheels and wearing parachute pants!
• All my local family came to the party.
• All my in-laws came to the party.
•  Garrett being so excited about his outfit. He wore 3 layers of clothes, first he revealed the clam diggers, then he finally revealed the spandex. And they were mighty tight!
• I didn't eat a piece of my cake. Oh well!
• Jayben and Ben sang happy birthday to me on the way home.
• When we got to Classic skating the parking lot was packed. When we got inside we found out that it was elementary night. There were so many people there. It was hilarious to watch their reactions to our outfits.
• Strangers were asking to take pictures of some of us because they had the EXACT outfit in the 80's.
• The roller derby girls showed up toward the end. They looked mean. And I wondered if I really should have been wearing a helmet out there too.
• Cass and I skated during the girls choice snowball. We didn't realize we were supposed to pick a boy to skate with. I just kept giving them 5 as we skated by! Ha ha!
