We had a great support group with us as always. Thanks for the great photos! Hopefully next year we can recruit you to run it.
I'm just going to post the photos because unlike last year or the year before we are not rookies at the half marathon. We all know people will run off in the woods to poop or pee, someone is bound to pass out due to dehydration, there will be multiple snot rockets, and those that are hoping their gas passing will propel them forward.
Ben and Nick aka "Amy". The dude in front is Andy, he is from Boise Idaho. They chased him until mile 7, then he paced with them until mile 9 and they took off. He finished in 1:47. Ben never learned not to talk to strangers!
Jen and me. We stayed together for about 9 miles. I probably talked her ear off but I was so glad to have someone to keep me distracted from how long we were running. Little did I know the girl behind me was throwing punches, I might have gone a little faster.
Ben on his way to finish after he cramped up from being high on sugar.
Not really sure why my eyes were closed at this point. I might have been gearing up to sprint in.
"Kate" ran very well. I planned to run with him but couldn't find him at the start. Little did I know he was right behind me.
Ben and Nick both improved their times by 4 minutes. And I improved by 19. Ya you read that right, 19 freaking minutes. That's like an hour in chubby time. It's so much easier to run if you are not pregnant or 5 months postpartum. And training helps too.
Katie is now Ben's running nemesis. She beat him by 25 seconds. Just like the South Ogden 5K all over again.
in the top lef picture Jay looks like he's chattering his teeth like Perry the platypus from Phineas and Ferb. (Maybe I watch a little too much tv with Jayben). I'm just a spaz, Ben still loves me and Nick is confused about what just happened.
The sweaty couple. I had a serious case of swoobs. It looked like I was lactating. Nope just sweat!
And don't you love that my sports bra protected one spot on my back from sweat! That's what 13.1 miles will do to you.

I love the pictures!!! You guys did such a great job!! Can't wait to MAYBE run it next year... :)
Tay says he wont run it cause he would nufficate and then we would never reproduce again!
I have also seen phineas and ferb. Unfortunately I didn't see doofenshmertz. That would have completed the emsemble.
How fun! Jen told me she got to run with you. Good job, all of you. I think Ben looks just like Josh in his finish pictures. Nice work!
I would be pooping in the woods. And on the road. And probably down my leg.
Did you laugh?
You're amazing! One day I will run that far. Is that the Nike pegasus 26 I spot on your feet?! Love those!
You are a freakin' rock star!!! Nice!!!
