Viva Las Vegas

We tagged along with the Erwins and Harpers for a quick get away to Vegas for Kelly's big 3-0! It was a blast. We stayed at a condo on the South end of the strip and it was fantastic.
We started out our adventure with a visit to the famous Hash House a go go as seen on Man vs food. The pancakes were huge! The food was delicious but this time food had the victory! Kelly ordered a loaf of French toast and the others got some sort of skillet. DELISH!
After our gluttony in the morning we spent the rest of Monday afternoon floating on the lazy river. Ben stayed up in the room to study and Rocky looked like a polygamist with Steph and I in the lazy river. Awesome!

Then it was off to The Cheesecake Factory and our show (which I got a killer deal on tickets for) Beatles Love.

The show was fantastic! Except the anal usher girl kept freaking out about taking pictures in the theater. Oh well. Ha ha. we still got one!
Tuesday the  boys spent the morning golfing. Where once again our rebelious side came out. Ben golfed without a collared shirt and the receptionist was sure they would both go to jail. The boys also took an impromptu trip to the Hoover Dam. Much to Ben's disappointment Megatron was not frozen inside the dam. :(
The girls did some shopping and returned to spend some time at the pool with our men.
But we all finished off the day with some amazing sushi at Kabuki. yum!
As always we have lots of things to remember:
  • Old spice
  • Juan bong
  • mad libs
  • shuffleboard
  • b-ball and water v-ball
  • Kelbow. She can cut a candy bar with those babies!
  • Legit chicken
  • Leatherman
  • Free food at Wendy's in Nephi
  • My 8 mile run and Bens 11 mile run in the desert.

The trip was a blast as expected. Can't wait for the next one!

You guys are so fun. 30 sounds so old...even though that was a few years ago! Looks like a fun time. Love the 'big food' pictures. Ben (my Ben) is all about stuff like that.
