We started out our Saturday by running a 5k at the Salvation Army. Well, Ben and Jay ran a little more than that. They both ran the 5k once before the race started, then again for the race and then Ben ran it again to get his long run in for that day. I only ran it once. Ben took 1st place! He ran it in 20 minutes. It was awesome. I ran it in 28. Which is by far the fastest I have ever ran a 5k.
We got home and realized that some birds were trying to make a home in our dryer vent. Ben was up checking that out and Lincoln checked out the sprinklers. He was in heaven. Until the clouds covered the sun, then it got cold really quick.
Jayben found a salamander in our yard. It was huge and gross. He named him Sammy. Can't wait for some nice days to spend some more time outside.
