The boys had a blast. They got lots of fun toys. Of course, Jaybens favorite gift was his own package of Nesquick and Lincoln like the plastic bubble poppers best.
We then went over to Jay and Peggy's for the tradition of opening the gifts from the names we drew. This year it was decided that adults would not get presents and instead we would go on a trip. But the kids still got to open some presents. It was fun. But got way too late. Jayben took almost all the pictures we have from that night.
Finally, Christmas morning arrived. The boys came in and woke us up early. We opened their presents in a bit of a rush. Like always, they got a ton of stuff. It was a fun morning. Jayben got a new suit for Christmas and he was able to wear it to church on Christmas morning. He looked so handsome. We went to church with Jay and Peggy. Afterward we rushed to their house to get some food and then I was off to work. :( The only plus side to working that day was Ammon got real drums and I thought I might go postal if I had to listen to the pounding for one more minute.
All in all Christmas was a very memorable day as always. We got to spend some time together as a family, we enjoyed church and I got to help some sick people feel better.
