No more missionaries!

The Whitesides Family is finally all back together. After YEARS of having at minimum 1 kid on a mission, David made it home from Washington DC. Woo Hoo!

I had run 10 miles Friday morning. I thought I had plenty of time to get ready but I was wrong. By the time I dried my hair we were already going to be late. So, we cruised to Salt Lake with Josh and Harmony and my frizzy hair. On the way there, we got a phone call that his plane had landed early (which never happens so why today?). We pulled into the parking lot found the first place we could and all ran into the airport. I was not feeling so good at that point because I was not planning on running any more that day. But we made it and of course still ended up waiting for a half an hour before he actually made it down the escalator and into his mothers arms.
He looks just the same as before. It's so good to have him home. The hard part is training Jayben that he doesn't have to pray for David on his mission anymore.

I am a fan of the no missionary motto! LOL!! Just kidding! According to your picture in the upper right hand corner, I think it would be safe to say you look the most excited to see David.........Or the most scared, I can't decide! :)

That is so exciting to finally have him home- and what a fun Mission. DC would be fun and crazy!

How do you feel about another zoo day in a few weeks?

Missed you at the reunion. Hope the wedding went well.
Good luck with you half marathon this weekend- fun! (and a little crazy). I think that I am going to try and do the Vegas half in December.
When are you done with school? If a couple of us girls met at Classic on a Mon, Wed, or Fri would you and Jayben be able to make it?
