Well, after 8 years Ben has finally domesticated me. And by that I do mean all definitions of the meaning: cultivated, tame, broken, and reclaimed. Just like a wild animal. I cannot take all the credit for my domestic diva day! Taylor and cass also came to help in exchange for the soup.

Who can pass up HOMEMADE chicken noodle soup? It was delicious! Not to brag or anything but it was the bomb! Melt in your mouth chicken, zesty celery slices, delectable carrots, and noodles that make spaghetti jealous.

Then it was off to use the sewing machine that my mom gave me last year. My mom was first runner up for Miss Ricks College. Her talent...: sewing. So, she was a smokin' hot beauty queen that was already domestic at the age of 19. While I like to think I got tiny slice of the hot gene from her, I did miss out on the sewing gene. Until today!!! (Mom, you should be proud). With the assistance of Taylor we were able to get the sewing machine up and running. And it even sewed things…………for a while. But no worries my recessive sewing gene came out and I was able to fix the machine and sew! I made microwavable heating pads. They are fabulous and easy enough that I can make them. I also sewed up my 7 for all mankind jeans, which I got from Down east Outfitters. They sell name brand jeans at a fraction of the cost because they have flaws (like a hole along the waistband from a loose thread). Anyway, they are a good deal. And I love a good deal. Another thing I inherited from my mother.

Wasn't that a fun run on Thanksgiving? I had a blast, but was disappointed that it was only just over 4 miles. So I went out Saturday morning and went a big 5 just so I could say that I did! I am totally doing that race next Thanksgiving. What was your time? I came in at 39:20 so you probably smoked my butt. I ran part way with a friend who is a little slower so my time wasn't that great but it wasn't about time, just for fun. See Ya, Jana Schultz
Check you out! I'm very impressed. Jared has to sew buttons on for me cuz I haven't got a clue. And congrats on being a nurse! So exciting. P.S. Where did you get Jayben's Iron man costume?
